CardUp ("the App") is a multiplayer Guandan card game. We designed it to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what is processed and why.
Nickname. When you join an online room you may enter a nickname. It is shown to other players in the same room, kept in server memory only for the duration of the room, and never stored permanently.
Gameplay data. Cards, moves, and room state are processed in server memory to run the game and are discarded when the room ends. We do not build player profiles.
Reconnect token. A random token is stored on your device so you can rejoin a room after a disconnect. It contains no personal information.
Server logs. Our game server temporarily records technical logs (such as IP addresses and timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. Logs rotate automatically and are not used for tracking or advertising.
Voice chat (optional). Rooms offer optional real-time voice chat powered by Agora (agora.io). If you tap the microphone button and grant microphone permission, your live audio is transmitted through Agora's real-time network to other players in the same room. Audio is not recorded or stored by us. If you never enable the microphone, no audio is captured. See Agora's privacy policy at agora.io for details of their processing.
The App contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, no in-app purchases, and no real-money gambling. The only third-party service is Agora for optional in-room voice chat. We do not sell or share your information with anyone. We do not collect your name, contacts, photos, or location.
The App is a card game with no purchases and no data collection beyond what is described above. Voice chat only connects players who share the same private room code.
All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS/WSS).
